senior highways engineer (approx £40,000-55,000)
We are seeking dependable staff at Senior Highways Engineer grade, with around 6 – 9 years’ experience. The successful candidate will be involved with delivering projects and be a key member of our fledgling highways engineering team. We are currently looking for a Senior Transport Planner (minimum 3 years of experience) with a passion for development related transport planning. The successful candidate will join a busy team working on a wide range of projects in the North West and across the UK. Our strong and diverse client base means that no one day is the same and staff advise on an extensive portfolio of projects which includes mixed-use regeneration, residential, employment, logistics, retail, leisure and education. As a Senior Transport Planner you will manage projects and communicate directly with clients to provide advice on transport and highway matters. You will also be involved in liaising and negotiating with local highway authority officers and other government bodies to achieve successful outcomes for our clients.

CAD design technician/highway designer (approx £22,000-£34,000)
We are currently seeking a Design Technician with at least 2 years design experience, preferably in Highway Design or within a transport planning practice. As a member of the technical team your main responsibilities would be the production of preliminary highway and junction design layouts using AutoCAD and the production of other design drawings such as car parks, bus stations, footways and cycle routes. The role also requires a good working knowledge to AutoTrack software. In addition to these main responsibilities the production of report figures using various software packages including CORELDRAW and/or GIS would be advantageous.
