mode transport planning were appointed by Merica Real Estate to provide transport inputs to a new mixed use regeneration scheme. The scheme provided commercial and residential uses, with associated parking at 38 Birmingham Road, Sutton Coldfield.


Mixed Use Regeneration Scheme
The transport assessment included a sound access strategy and assessment. The travel plan aimed to reduce car movements from the site and mode provided the following inputs to the planning application:
- access strategy and assessment;
- parking allocation and planning within the site;
- on street parking review;
- detailed servicing;
- supporting transport assessment; and
- production of a travel plan.

Transport Planning Support
The existing units will be demolished, and three four-storey buildings will be rebuilt on the site containing 1670m2 of retail space on the ground floor. They will then be split into 12 units and 65 residential 1, 2 and 3 bed apartments on the first, second and third floors.
