L&Q Group’s Kew Bridge Rise is a landmark residential-led mixed-use development comprising 441 apartments, with 50% affordable housing, complemented by commercial and community facilities. The development benefits from its striking riverside location overlooking the Thames, offering residents a high-quality urban lifestyle with direct and sustainable links into Central London.
mode transport planning has been appointed as the Travel Plan Coordinator for both residential and commercial elements of the scheme, responsible for ensuring compliance with Section 106 obligations and supporting long-term sustainable travel behaviour.
As part of this role, mode has:
- Assessed sustainable transport opportunities, including walking, cycling, public transport and shared mobility connections.
- Produced exemplar quality promotional travel packs for residents covering local travel options, amenities and sustainable lifestyle opportunities.
- Delivered incentives to promote sustainable choices, including Oyster Card and Zipcar travel credits.
- Taken responsibility for ongoing monitoring of travel behaviour and working with L&Q to encourage greener travel choices and embed sustainable living into the community.
Going forward, mode will monitor travel behaviour across the development and work closely with L&Q to encourage greener travel choices, reduce car dependency, and embed sustainable living into the fabric of the community.
