Project Summary
mode was appointed by the Hill Group to provide highways and transport planning support for the redevelopment of the Golf Links Estate, a significant regeneration project delivering new homes and improved community facilities.
As part of the development proposals, mode prepared a detailed Construction Logistics Plan to ensure that construction traffic could be managed safely and efficiently throughout the build period. The plan set out measures to:
- Minimise disruption to existing residents and the local community.
- Manage construction routes and vehicle movements to protect the surrounding highway network.
- Prioritise safety for pedestrians and cyclists during the construction phase.
By embedding best practice in construction logistics and engaging with the local highway authority, mode helped the Hill Group demonstrate a robust and deliverable approach, ensuring the scheme could progress with minimal impact on the surrounding area.
