Ferndale Gardens
Project Summary
mode was appointed by the Hill Group to provide highways and transport planning support for the Ferndale Gardens development in Beckton. The project will deliver new homes within an established residential area, making efficient use of underutilised land to meet local housing needs.
mode’s role included:
- Preparation of a detailed Construction Logistics Plan, ensuring that construction traffic could be managed safely and efficiently, while minimising disruption to the local community and surrounding highway network.
- Working closely with the project team and the local highway authority to secure access to the site, overcoming technical and logistical challenges associated with the constrained urban setting.
Through this work, mode enabled the Hill Group to bring forward a deliverable and policy-compliant scheme, balancing construction requirements with the need to protect local amenity and ensure safe, sustainable operations.
