mode transport planning were appointed by David Wilson Homes to provide expert witness services relating to the appeal for a mixed use redevelopment of Baggeridge Brick; a former brickworks in South Staffordshire.
In addition to 140 new residential units, the site will provide new leisure facilities including a craft village, increased parking and coach facilities for the nearby Baggeridge Country Park. The Transport Assessment included a sound access strategy and assessment, whilst the Travel Plan aimed to reduce car movements from the site.
mode also appeared at inquiry on this project and demonstrated to the Inspector that the site would be acceptable in traffic terms and can be considered sustainable despite its relative proximity to Sedgley.

On 30th November 2012 the Inspector published his decision allowing outline planning permission for development of the site.
