JLL triathlon team

We are delighted to be entering a team at this year’s JLL property triathlon event at Dorney Lake in Windsor.

This event follows on from a recent 100km cycle ride from Harrogate to attend the UKREiiF conference in Leeds. Now in its 16^th year, the triathlon has several components. Our team are training hard for this event, including swimming, cycling and running. They will complete a 750m swim in the clear waters of the rowing lake. Followed by a 21.2km bike ride. Then four laps of a flat tarmac circuit around the lake. And finally, two laps along the side of the rowing lake on tarmac paths, totalling a 5km run. David Frisby and Rachel Lord are competing in mode colours this year. A delegation from our London office will be there to cheer them on.

This is the first-year mode has sent a team and are excited to be competing at this world-famous venue. Dorney Lake is fabulously unique and multi-faceted, set within 400 acres of stunning Berkshire Countryside. It is located between Royal Windsor, Ascot, Maidenhead, and the business centre of Slough. Famous for their part in the London 2012 Olympics, they provide a venue for grassroots and international rowing and canoeing.

The event has so far raised over £2 million for charity. The event which now includes a sprint distance triathlon, duathlon, 2.2K swim and a growing fancy dress wave has something to offer everyone. It’s a fun and inclusive way for people of different ages and abilities to come together. Whether competing or spectating, it’s an opportunity to meet colleagues and friends or make new business connections.
