Project Summary
mode provided transport planning support for the phased delivery of up to 132,000 sqm of industrial and logistics development at Orwell Logistics Park, Ipswich. The project required detailed assessment of traffic impacts on the A14 and extensive liaison with National Highways.
A particular focus was placed on the implications of reduced on-site HGV parking and its relationship with layby provision on the strategic road network serving regional ports. mode’s evidence-led approach helped address these concerns and supported the successful progression of multiple planning phases.
