Adam Ford

BA (Hons) MSc

Principal Transport Planner

Adam is a Principal Transport Planner with over five years’ experience working in development planning, supporting a wide range of residential, commercial, education, and strategic mixed-use schemes across the south. He has extensive experience preparing detailed Transport Assessments and junction modelling. He regularly liaises with local highway authorities, consultants, and project teams to unlock sites for development.

Adam holds a Master’s degree with Distinction in Transport Planning and Engineering from the University of Southampton, graduating in 2024. During his geography undergrad studies, he spent time living in Utrecht, where exposure to high-quality walking, cycling, and public transport infrastructure sparked his long-term interest in sustainable and people-focused transport planning.

Originally based in Southampton, Adam relocated to London to take on new professional challenges (and to escape a few very difficult seasons following Southampton FC). Outside of work, Adam enjoys exploring London on foot, bike, and tube, attempting his long runs, discovering new restaurants, and doing his best to avoid the Southampton FC results.
