intu Bromley
Project Summary
mode transport planning have been working closely with intu Properties. This has involved, advising on parking and highways matters relating to the introduction of a five-screen boutique cinema on the roof of the intu Bromley shopping centre and a number of restaurants around the Elmfield Road entrance.
The centre is located in the heart of the town and as such a key element to developing a successful strategy involved comprehensive town centre parking analysis and a through review of access via all sustainable modes to the shopping centre.
The scheme was granted planning permission on 9th July 2014.
Our Role
mode provided the following transport related services:
- access strategy and assessment;
- parking allocation and accumulation profiles across Bromley town centre;
- review of bus routes and timetabling;
- supporting transport assessment; and
- production of a travel plan.
