Project Summary
Cherryfield Drive, Kirkby, is residential development comprising c.800no. residential dwellings, with vehicular access provided via 4no. access junctions onto the local highway network.
mode provided highways and transport planning advice throughout the planning process, which involved extensive liaison and negotiations with the Local Highway Authority, National Highways and Active Travel England.
The planning application was approved by Knowsley Metropolitan Borough Council in April 2025.
mode’s technical work included the preparation of a Transport Assessment and Travel Plan, including detailed junction capacity modelling and highway design.
