Project Summary
mode transport planning have been appointed by Taylor Wimpey to provide transport planning advice in support for a new residential development of 207 new homes on land at Grove Road, Harwell in Oxfordshire.
A full transport assessment has been prepared for this development proposal. This has been done in combination with a travel plan seeking to reduce single occupancy car movements to and from the site. mode’s work included:
- detailed access strategy;
- junction capacity assessment;
- shared space scheme to improve public realm;
- a full transport assessment; and
- travel plan.
The application was submitted in July 2015 and received committee resolution to grant planning permission during July 2016.
