mode transport planning were appointed by Spitfire Bespoke Homes to provide transportation planning advice relating to the redevelopment of 6 Norfolk Road, Edgbaston in Birmingham.
The proposals include the conversion of Weston House (non designated heritage asset) into 6 apartments; conversion of a stable block into 2 semi detached mews homes; 2 new build townhouses reflective of Weston House and 26 new build apartments & 7 new build detached dwellings all of a modern but striking interpretation of period architecture.
mode provided the following transportation inputs to the planning application and design:
- detailed access strategy;
- parking review;
- sustainable mobility review;
- inputs to site public realm;
- supporting transport statement; and
- production of a travel plan.
The application received a resolution to grant planning permission on 30th July 2020.
