mode transport planning are proud to have been involved with the National Apprenticeship Programme since forming back in 2012. The National Apprenticeship Service (NAS), part of the Education and Skills Funding Agency, is a government agency that coordinates apprenticeships in England, enabling young people to enter the workplace to gain practical work experience combined with a structured eduction.

We are extremely proud to continue our involvement in the programme, despite the UK being in lockdown as a result of COVID-19 precautions.

Arthur Springthorpe has joined mode’s Birmingham office as part of this year’s intake and he shares his thoughts and hopes for this years programme:

“ Even during these uncertain times, due to the impacts of COVID-19, mode have welcomed me as their new apprentice.
I am very much looking forward to getting stuck in with design work, as well as the overall learning package that the national apprenticeship programme has to offer; all of which will keep me very busy I’m sure!

mode have used the National Apprenticeship Program since 2012 and it has had a very positive impact on our organisation; Managing Director David Frisby:

We are very much looking forward to working with and supporting Arthur though his apprenticeship; apprentices and young people have had an amazing impact on the business by always bringing a fresh perspective to everything that we do. They like to challenge the tried and tested way of doing things and we encourage them to do just that; ensuring that mode remains a young and vibrant company
