mode tranport planning helped Oxford University Hospital Trust in gaining planning approval at the Town Hall last night after the application for 270 houses at Littlemore Park was originally refused two weeks ago.
The Oxford City Planning Review Committee listened to mode’s Technical Director Huw Jones present the case for the Hospital Trust on the suitability of the site that promoted good accessibility and investment in sustainable transport links.
Head of Strategic Asset Management at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust Sheila Aldred stated that:
“without the transport advice given by mode and the presentation given to councillors the scheme may not have been passed and I would like to thank them for all their hard work in achieving more needed housing in Oxford and the subsequent receipts will be ploughed back in to health care in Oxford and Oxfordshire.”
